Not only that , but another outage was also impacting about 192 customers near the Virginia Square - GMU Station.
For the fourth time since late June , Dominion customers in Ballston and Virginia Square have faced power outages . The outage started around 2 a.m. this morning , affecting roughly 650 customers in the area . This recurring issue has been causing frustration among residents , with no definitive answers provided as to what is causing these repeated outages . Rumors suggest equipment failures at the Capitals Iceplex or equipment replacement work along N. Pollard Street could be the root of the problem.
