Summer Games Done Quick (SGDQ), the annual speedrunning marathon for charity, is set to kick off on June 30 and run until July 6. The event features skillful players blasting through a variety of games, with a lineup that includes Balatro, Alan Wake 2, Elden Ring, and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1, 2, 3, and 4. Additionally, a glitchless Baldur's Gate 3 Honour Mode run and a shipless Outer Wilds run are also on the schedule.
One of the most anticipated runs at SGDQ is a live speedrun from Peanut Butter, the shiba inu who previously performed a remote run of the NES game Gyromite at Awesome Games Done Quick. At SGDQ, Peanut Butter will be playing Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball for the Super NES live at the event, with the goal of winning a game in just 30 minutes. This exciting run is scheduled for July 4th at 8:43PM ET.
In honor of the event, Humble is offering the Summer Games Done Quick Bundle, giving gamers a chance to play the same games they can watch speedrunners demolish. The bundle features a tiered pricing system, allowing players to choose their price and the games they want. For $12, you get three games including Dishonored, Blazing Chrome, and Hyperbolica. Paying $15 adds The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore to the bundle, while $20 unlocks the full seven-game bundle with additions like Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 and Penny's Big Breakaway.
The Humble Bundles support charities like Doctors Without Borders, in addition to game developers, giving players the opportunity to pay more than the asking price to increase their donation. The SGDQ Bundle is a great way to enjoy well-regarded games and support a good cause at the same time.
If you're a fan of Bethesda titles, Fanatical's Build Your Own Bethesda Bundle offers 16 games developed and published by Bethesda with a variety of pricing options. Choose two games for $7, three games for $10, or five games for $15. The bundle includes popular titles like Dishonored, Morrowind, Oblivion, Doom 3, Quake games, Wolfenstein titles, and more.
