A recent post by the iconic 9:30 Club in Washington D.C. has sparked rumors of a potential revival of the beloved HFStival music festival. The post featured a collage of images from past HFStivals and revealed a date and location for the event: September 21 at Nationals Park. Music fans have been eagerly awaiting more details about this long-awaited comeback.
The HFStival was a prominent alternative rock event in the '90s that attracted some of the biggest names in music to the nation's capital. Bands like the Foo Fighters, The Ramones, and Tony Bennett graced the stage at RFK Stadium during the festival's heyday. However, in 2005, the festival abruptly ceased following a format change by the radio station WHFS.
