The much-anticipated exit polls for Lok Sabha elections 2024 are in, predicting a third term for PM Modi and a comfortable majority for the BJP-led NDA. While the dream of '400 paar' remains distant, the opposition's INDIA bloc failed to impress voters. Most polls suggest over 350 seats for the NDA, falling short of the 543-seat target. PM Modi is set to become the second prime minister to retain power for a third term. Predictions show the INDIA bloc receiving less than 150 seats, far from the 285 predicted by Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge. In the South, BJP is expected to make significant gains, possibly winning its first Lok Sabha seat in Kerala and increasing voteshare to 27% in the region. Meanwhile, in West Bengal, BJP is projected to increase its seat count to 22, posing a challenge to Mamata's TMC. The alliance between Arvind Kejriwal's P and Congress in New Delhi did not sway voters in the capital, with most exit polls indicating a clean sweep for BJP. However, these are just predictions and the actual results may vary on election day.
